IT Technician - Systems and Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support and troubleshooting
• Monitor systems for security issues including sign-in logs, quarantines, and network activity
• Manage device updates, user provisioning, and Microsoft 365 administration
• Perform regular audits to maintain security and remove unused accounts or devices
• Assist with user training, documentation, and automation of routine IT processes
• Support long-term IT projects including software transitions and lifecycle planning

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience providing technical support in a Windows-based environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and security protocols
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, AzureAD (Entra), and Defender Online
• Experience with Cisco Meraki for network monitoring
• Interest in cybersecurity and IT automation
• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in IT support
