Two Point Conversions, has an available position for IT Systems Engineer. Our company has been

the leader for over 30 years in pharmacy data conversion, data migration, archiving and

warehousing. This posiƟon will report directly to the Senior IT Manager.

 

About the Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic well rounded Systems Engineer that is ready to hit the ground

running. The ideal candidate should be a highly moƟvated, results-driven individual who can

create perfect solutions for our organization's higher-level needs. The best candidate will also be

a team player, excellent listener and communicator, with the ability to explain why their

soluƟons are the best fit. We are looking for someone comfortable in a small IT shop who enjoys

wearing many hats, and is not afraid of a challenge. This person will also value excellent

customer service and collaboration equally with technical elegance and skill. This is an exciting

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Help lead management of the Linux and Windows server infrastructure, including AcƟve

Directory User and Group Policy management, general maintenance including patch

management, security updates, backup procedures, and network configuration for

physical and virtual infrastructure both on premise and in Azure and AWS.

● Create/update cloud environment configurations to establish/support application

workloads, including configuration of Subscriptions, Resource Groups, VNets, Subnets,

load balancers, App Services, Azure Batch, Virtual Machines, resource tagging, billing,

policy implementation, and security controls.

● Create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and asissing with

other project deliverables as needed.

● Identify opportunities for migration of existing systems to cloud-based offerings.

● Maintain excellent network performance by performing regular network monitoring and

performance tuning; escalate problems and work with vendors as needed.

● Use cryptographic experience to set up public key infrastructure (PKI) to create, manage,

distribute, use, store, and revoke digital certificates and manage public-key encryption..

● Administer and maintain a secure user environment by implementing standards that

conform to HIPAA guidelines and shared resources in general in accordance with

applicable security best practices and opƟmal resource accessibility.

● Perform systems engineering acƟviƟes in all phases of a project, to include discovery,

design, build, test, and deploy.

● Create, maintain and update diagrams/documentation of evolving infrastructure and

operational procedures.

● Attend regular training and conferences as necessary to maintain up-to-date skills and to

develop new ideas relevant to our systems and industry in general.

 

● Be available aŌer hours and weekends to perform scheduled work that cannot be done

during normal business hours and to respond to emergencies in a timely fashion.

QualificaƟons

● Proven experience in systems administration and support in an enterprise Microsoft

AcƟve Directory based environment is necessary as well as experience in systems

support in a Linux/Unix environment.

● Desired Linux+ and RHCSA, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft Azure

AZ-104/AZ-700.

● A Four (4) year degree from an accredited college or university with a major emphasis in

an information systems related area or equivalent is also strongly desired.

● Knowledge and experience building and deploying servers, desktops and multifunctional

devices using current best practices with a variety of hardware, soŌware and operaƟng

systems is required. Experience with Linux and Windows.

● Knowledge, skill, and experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of

Cisco network hardware such as switches, firewalls and wireless access points.

Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP subneting, VLANs, Ethernet, routing & switching.

● ScripƟng skills and experience with an emphasis on systems management in one or more

such as Bash, Perl, Powershell, PHP, CMD or Python are required.

● Previous help desk Ɵer 2 technical support center experience and the ability to resolve a

diverse scope of help desk issues related to both the desktop, server and network

environments is desired.

● Ability to multi-task and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

● Clear communicator in both written and verbal form for a variety of audiences.

● Candidates with experience implementing open source Virtualization technologies such

as KVM, ProxMox and VMWare are .

● Experience implementing open source network monitoring tools and utilties such as

Zabbix and MRTG are .
