Role Overview
As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be the frontline for our clients’ IT needs—resolving technical issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll split your time between remote support (from home) and on-site visits to customer locations across the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, personable, and eager to build strong client relationships while solving real-world IT challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support via phone, remote tools, and in person.
- Respond quickly to client tickets, emails, and calls while keeping communication professional and clear.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and security issues.
- Perform system upgrades, workstation deployments, and routine maintenance.
- Support Microsoft 365, cloud services, and common business applications.
- Configure and maintain network equipment (routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi).
- Document support activities, resolutions, and client system changes.
- Collaborate with team members on larger IT projects and escalations.
- Deliver a professional, customer-first experience both remotely and on-site.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support experience (MSP experience a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business software.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with NVRs, wireless networking, and VoIP setups a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client site visits.
