IT Service Desk Specialist (3rd Shift)
Location: Knoxville, TN (On-site)
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM | Weekends Included
Training: 4-Week Paid Training Provided
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Desk Specialist to join our Knoxville-based team. This position plays a vital role in delivering front-line technical support and customer service to internal and external users.
If you're a recent or upcoming graduate or simply looking to jumpstart your career in the IT industry, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a technology-driven environment. Comprehensive paid training is provided during your first four weeks.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level support for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues

Respond to support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner

Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating when necessary

Document customer interactions, issue resolutions, and follow-up steps accurately

Recommend improvements to hardware and software environments based on recurring issues or feedback

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications:

Minimum Associate’s Degree (2-year) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn and grow within the IT support field

Prior experience in helpdesk or customer service roles

Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software problems

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Reliable transportation to and from the Knoxville office

Must be able to work overnight (3rd shift) including weekends
