Job Description

IT Project Manager – ERP, Heidelberg – €70–80k

This long-established software company has been building innovative ERP solutions for retail, wholesale, and logistics for over 40 years. Their ERP platform has tens of thousands of daily users and is developed by a highly skilled team in an R&D-driven environment.

They are now looking for an IT Project Manager to join their Heidelberg team, leading ERP projects from conception through to go-live and beyond.

Your tasks:

• Manage and implement ERP projects: planning, execution, and project controlling
• Analyse user requirements and create detailed specifications
• Adapt and configure ERP solutions to customer needs (experience in Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc. is useful but not essential)
• Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure timelines, quality, and budgets are met
• Support customers with testing, documentation, change requests, and go-lives
• Train and provide support to end users

Your profile:

• Several years’ experience as an IT Project Manager (ERP project experience a plus)
• Technical understanding and ability to work closely with developers and clients
• Some exposure to programming (Python, JavaScript, SQL, C, etc.) helpful, but not essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• German skills are essential; English is an advantage
• Live within a commutable distance from Heidelberg and open to some travel
