Career Summary:
The Information Technology Project Management Office team is looking for a high performing IT Project Manager that is responsible for leading and managing information technology projects that support the organization's systems, infrastructure, and business applications. This includes overseeing the full project lifecycle — from planning and execution through delivery and closure — while ensuring alignment with business goals, adherence to technical standards, and compliance with established PMO methodologies. The IT Project Manager works collaboratively with IT teams, business units, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

What You Will Do:
- Manage IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases. Create and maintain project documentation such as schedules, task plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and deployment plans.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish success metrics.
- Ensure clear and ongoing communication with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Follow and contribute to PMO standards, tools, templates, and methodologies to promote consistency across IT projects.
- Assist with PMO-related administrative support, including reporting, project portfolio tracking, and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the American Nurses Enterprise:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience
- Five (5) or more years of IT project management experience
Skills:
- Experience managing software, systems, or infrastructure implementation projects
- Proficient in project management tools including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Visio
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smart Sheets or similar project tracking tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with both Agile and traditional (Waterfall) project methodologies
- Background working with IT vendors and third-party service providers
- Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) or enterprise-level platforms
