IT Project Analyst - WMS Automation (23 Month FTC)

Job Description

The National IT department within Aldi are looking for an IT Project Analyst to join on a 23-month fixed term contract. You’ll have experience implementing and/or technically supporting, supply chain, warehouse management systems (Manhattan) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) in automated warehouse environment. Knowledge and experience of working with technical and non-technical teams to deliver successful software transformations would be advantageous, as would experience of project coordination/management.

The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring the successful implementation of ALDI systems into ALDI sites, with integration between the Automation WCS and the Manhattan WMS in a fast paced and agile project environment being a key focus. You will be part of an experienced IT team and you will work closely with the business, the International IT department, and our 3rd party suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered on time in a controlled manner.

Candidates will be located in Atherstone, however flexibility to travel is required.

Your New Role

• Project management of new demands and initiatives for NIT supply chain and automation projects.
• Support the deployment of IT solutions for new ALDI sites, involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle from inception/design through to go-live and hypercare.
• Support delivery of warehouse automation to ALDI and the integration with other applications in the IT landscape.
• Act as a key contributor to qualify and recommend technical solutions for business requirements.
• Ensuring requests/demands within area of responsibility are delivered on time to agreed scope.
• Create appropriate documentation and content within area of responsibility.
• Develops and maintains constructive working relationships with project team and external partners.

About You

• Supply Chain and Warehouse System (Manhattan) experience.
• Industry experience in an Analyst / project management level role.
• Experience with warehouse systems.
• Previous experience with business transformation.
• Project management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Experience of IT architecture / infrastructure.
• Experience of Supply Chain Operations.
