Job DescriptionOn-Site | Full-Time

About The Role

This is a Tier 2 technical support role embedded on the manufacturing plant floor, focused on enterprise-wide automation and logistics robotics. You will own the deployment, integration, and day-to-day support of AMR/AGV/VGV systems operating over WiFi, connecting fleet management software into existing IT infrastructure. This is hands-on infrastructure work — not project management.

Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux servers in production environments

Familiarity with server infrastructure monitoring tools (PRTG, SCOM, Nagios, SYSMON)

Ability to perform break/fix, refreshes, and new installs on server and storage hardware

Strong Networking Fundamentals

Solid understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, and practical network troubleshooting

Experience with switch installation, port activations, and wireless network administration

Application-Level Support & Troubleshooting

Proficient in diagnosing and resolving application issues at the infrastructure and OS layer

Experience supporting end users and escalating incidents (L2/L3 support model)

Comfortable working within ITSM ticketing systems and change request workflows (1TS, CTASKs, RFCs)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Exposure to AMR/AGV technologies: MiR, Autoguide, Omron, JBT, Creform, OTTO Motors, AIUT/Aformic, Bastian Automation

Familiarity with fleet management system (FMS) integration and COTS robotics products

What You'll Do

Support enterprise-wide deployment and integration of AMR/AGV/VGV logistics robots on the plant floor

Own and maintain 3rd-party Fleet Management System (FMS) connections into existing IT infrastructure

Troubleshoot robot deployments at the networking and infrastructure layers

Perform pre-shift checks across GALC, ICS, server, storage, and network infrastructure

Smart Hands support: server/network installs, refreshes, break/fix

Conduct weekly plant floor network, data center, and telecom infrastructure checks

Monitor ANDON systems, GALC alerts, and network tools (PRTG, DNAC)

Network, Power & Cabling

Coordinate installation and break/fix of network drops and power connections

Perform switch installation, port activations, and telecom room inspections

Execute hot swap operations on mission-critical equipment

On-Call & Incident Response

Serve as first POC for production and L2 escalations

Monitor and respond to P1-P3 incidents; follow escalation procedures

Provide on-call support for weekends and plant shutdowns

Documentation & Compliance

Create and maintain L3 process documentation with our Senior Analyst review and approval

Submit 1TS RFCs and support configuration of Priority Service Restoration processes

Experience & Background

Minimum 3 Years Of Relevant IT Infrastructure Experience

Technically hands-on background — resume should reflect engineering/admin work, not project or program management

Stable work history (consistent tenure at prior employers )

Compensation

$40-45 (W2/Hourly)
