IT Infrastructure Engineer - InTune / M365 - Newcastle*Be the M365 Subject Matter Expert*IT Deployment Engineer / IT Infrastructure Engineer, providing 3rd line IT / M365 Application support with excellent M365, InTune, Azure, Modern Device Management & IT Security experience is required by a leading company in central NewcastleYou will be the subject matter expert for Microsoft and M365, working on a range of 3rd line deployment projects across the Microsoft Stack, such as InTune, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Azure, Microsoft Cloud app, Microsoft Defender, Autopilot, Mobile solutions, etcExperience required:- A subject matter expert in M365 & Microsoft, such as InTune machine deployment, InTune Environment Simplification, InTune Company Portal/Update Applications, PowerShell scripting ability, and Deployment- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, firewall, VPN, iOS, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP).- Strong client-service approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Strong IT Security, Endpoint management and Vulnerability management experience- PowerShell Scripting experience within Microsoft Applications- Ability to prioritise, manage workload, and multitask effectively.Role Responsibilities:- 3rd line support and implement Intune, M365, and modern device management.- Configure and manage Autopilot, Windows 11, SharePoint, OneDrive, SSO, and application proxies.- Design and maintain end-user computing devices (e.g., iPads, Surface devices).- Ensure Microsoft 365's operational health (security, availability, maintenance).- Assist in managing Microsoft Exchange, Mimecast security, Teams, and Autopilot.- Develop onboarding processes and provide feedback for service improvements.- Define the company's IT Security policies, including vulnerability management- Admin of Endpoint management tools- Stay updated on Microsoft 365 tools and roadmap.- Conduct monitoring and analysis, including storage and usage reports.- Own problem management and resolve escalated issues from the Ops and Desktop teams.- Review and recommend end-user technology specifications.- Lead end-user-focused projects as required.- Advise earners on virtual collaboration tools and document review systems.Joining a team of 6 in the IT team, this key role ensures the smooth operation of the firm's IT applications and IT systems, serving as the primary subject matter expert for Microsoft, M365 & IT Security. You'll work as part of the IT operations team and liaise with third-party service providers to support end-user technology, including Microsoft 365, MDM/Intune, EntraID, and line-of-business applications.They are looking to pay a starting salary of between £42,000 - £52,000 + Benefits + Training + Hybrid work (around 3 days in the office).
