Ironworker / Welder (Commercial Modular Manufacturing)

Russo Modular is a commercial modular building manufacturer specializing in steel-framed modular construction. We are seeking a skilled Ironworker / Welder to join our fabrication team in a shop-based manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate structural steel components for modular buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Cut, fit, and assemble steel members
• Perform MIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding (TIG a plus)
• Ensure welds meet quality, safety, and structural standards
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow OSHA and company safety requirements

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an ironworker and/or structural welder
• Experience in 3G and 4G stick welding
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• AWS welding certification (or ability to obtain within 30 day of employment)
• Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience a plus
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
