Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, an Am 100 law firm, is seeking an IP Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property Patents practice group. This position is location-flexible and offers the opportunity to work closely with inventors and attorneys on emerging technologies.The Patent Agent will:Prepare and prosecute patent applications in collaboration with inventors and attorneys.
Conduct novelty and clearance searches to distinguish inventions from prior art.
Draft comprehensive patent applications and assist in negotiating patent scope with the USPTO.
Prepare reports and supporting documentation to manage patent portfolios effectively.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
2+ years of relevant patent agent experience.
Technical background in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, IoT, wireless communications, sensors, semiconductors, or optics .
Strong technical and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
