A well-regarded law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate or Senior Associate to join its Investment Funds practice. The ideal candidate will bring experience advising on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and investor negotiations, with a focus on private investment vehicles such as private equity and hedge funds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formation, structuring, and launch of private investment funds

• Counsel clients on fund operations and regulatory compliance

• Draft offering documents, partnership agreements, and side letters

• Support transactions involving fund investors, secondary interests, or co-investments

• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on client matters

Candidate Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school

• Bar admission in NY or D.C. required

• 3 to 8 years of experience in asset management, private funds, or related areas

• Familiarity with fund sponsor representation and investor negotiations

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-service skills
