Job purpose
Perform audits and maintain documentation of the material and inventory movement, as well as processes in the procurement, subcontracting, manufacturing, and warehousing areas. Assist and facilitate process improvement projects to ensure the company maintains accurate records of the perpetual inventory system across all business systems and locations
Duties and responsibilities
- YE Inventory support – PA, Gashapon locations, and NC
- Support all TAC stores, troubleshooting Epicor and Connectivity
- Work all TAC support tickets
- Assist Manager in testing process & procedures for improvement
- Support TAC store set up and maintenance
- Inventory improvement projects as requested
- Review of Gashapon and PA data for ME close activities
- Travel PA & TAC stores
- Coordinate with PA, set up and maintain cycle counts
- Maintain PA Cycle Count Data
- Review discrepancies
- Identify root cause
- Identify & document gaps in workflow, with cross reference to process and procedures
- Investigate & review PA transactions for accuracy – Shipping, receiving, production, WIP
- PA subcontract review, maintain accuracy of inventory & WIP
- Regular review to maintain manuals including updates to process & procedures
- Training, Instruction and information sharing
- Cross train with IPI Specialist – NC & Gashapon
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations Management, Engineering or a related field, or 5 years of related experience .
- 3 years of experience working in the manufacturing/distribution environment
- Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen continuous process improvement-related training or certifications
- Proven experience in process optimization, inventory management, or related roles.
- Experience in driving business process change and improvements
- Continuous and unrelenting effort to improve systems and processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively across departments
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data
- Strong Excel, ERP, and other database/analytical software
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Self-driven individual with the motivation to grow
- Change management expertise with the ability to lead and influence others
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours
- Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member
- Ability to work in an interactive office group setting, and spend primary working hours at a desk using a computer and other office equipment such as printers, copiers, postage machines, etc.
