Summary

Inventory Manager works with Sales, Accounts Payable, Finance, Manufacturing and Inventory management. The tasks are broad but mostly revolve around data analysis, system maintenance, cost/price evaluation and receipt entry. This position requires a critical thinker that can identify and resolve issues quickly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Working with Sales and Manufacturing on new products to determine pricing and manufacturing costs, including the creation of Bill of Materials to be utilized in the manufacturing process.

· Maintaining and updating manufacturing costs for existing products within the system.

· Administrative system work, placing and updated PO’s, updating Production work orders and receiving product into the system.

· Analyzing manufacturing data and supply chain operations to drive process improvement, including scheduling.

· Run manufacturing’s monthly inventory program and update inventory levels accordingly.

· Research defective or unacceptable goods with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.

· Tracks and processes custom and value add orders to completion through the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related field are a plus.

· Working knowledge of data analysis (excel) and forecasting tools (erp systems) and ability to develop actionable insights from data

· Proven knowledge of inventory management

· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

· Must demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment

· Attention to detail with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
