Job Description: Inventory Manager
Position Summary:
Berkel & Company Contractors, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Accounting Manager for its Bonner Springs, Kansas corporate office. This position will work closely with regional warehouse locations and accounting to determine equipment needs, manage equipment inventory, perform inventory entries, account reconciliations, processes weekly movement of inventory, and track repairs, maintenance and upgrades for assets. The Inventory Manager will also be responsible for the management and execution of annual physical inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry, posting transactions
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, their condition and location
- Maintain detailed records of regular equipment maintenance, repairs, part replacements, etc.
- Prepare weekly inventory account reconciliations
- Prepare weekly inventory reports
- Process weekly movement of inventory transactions
- Collaborate with regions to forecast equipment needs for upcoming projects

Job Requirements:
- Previous inventory experience,
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Excellent communication skills
