The Apparel Planning & Inventory Manager will take ownership of forecasting SKU-level sales velocities, improve inventory flows, and enable smarter purchasing decisions across our catalog of 15,000+ SKUs. This role is essential to ensuring operational efficiency and inventory accuracy across our e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, demand planning, and e-commerce operations, with a passion for using data to drive impactful outcomes. We are a hybrid company. and would like the Inventory & Forecasting Manager to work at the office three times a week. Experience in the apparel industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:'
- Own the SKU velocity modeling process, including removing distortions caused by stockouts and sales spikes.
- Drive and improve the semi-automation of velocity calculations across a catalog of over 15,000 SKUs.
- Optimize on-hand inventory levels by identifying slow movers and executing liquidation strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain and Marketing teams to strategically launch promotions that move excess inventory.
- Build, maintain, and improve reporting tools to inform purchasing and demand planning decisions.
- Track and present KPIs and progress metrics to leadership in a clear and actionable way.
- Document and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and systems related to velocity management, liquidation, and inventory optimization.

Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or logistics.
- 3-5+ years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, or supply chain analytics.
- Excellent written, oral communication skills - capable of simplifying complex data.
- Necessary computer skills include - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Expert level Excel skills are required.
- Confidence in creating, presenting, and reporting metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to leadership.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain honest and effective working relationships with individuals from all backgrounds. A collaborative nature with the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- A proven track record in ecommerce and/or Amazon inventory operations.
- Experience working with product catalogs (15,000+ SKUs ).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills - able to translate data into actionable insights.
- High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to roll-up your sleeves for detailed execution.
- Advanced Google Sheets skills, including modeling and process automation concepts.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage and make sense of complex datasets.
- Familiarity with ecommerce sales dynamics, seasonality, and inventory velocity.
- A positive, initiative-taking, and meticulous mindset with a passion for accuracy and process improvement.
Pay Range: 80k - 100k annually
