We are seeking a detail-oriented MRO / Inventory Coordinator to support maintenance and manufacturing operations by managing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory. This position plays a critical role in ensuring maintenance teams have the parts, tools, and supplies needed to minimize equipment downtime and maintain efficient production. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and experienced with inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels for maintenance parts, tools, and operating supplies.
• Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming inventory.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent shortages.
• Create and track purchase orders while coordinating deliveries with vendors.
• Work closely with the maintenance, purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely availability of critical parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP or inventory management system.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Track equipment spare parts, consumables, and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure storeroom organization and cleanliness while following established inventory control procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, organization, and cost efficiency.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of inventory, MRO, purchasing, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment .
• Experience using ERP or inventory management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Experience

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with spare parts management and preventive maintenance inventory.
