Inventory Coordinator (Reconciliation & Cost Analyst)

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Coordinator to manage and reconcile inventory across our Plant, Co-Packer, and Cold Storage locations. This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy, tracking variances, and optimizing stock levels to support efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Reconciliation & Accuracy
- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory reconciliations across Plant, Co-Packer, and Cold Storage inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, working closely with warehouse, production, and supply chain teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Tracking & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Monitor inventory movement, transfers, and adjustments to ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure proper inventory valuation and reporting.
- Process Improvement & Compliance
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy.
- Support physical inventory counts and cycle counting processes to minimize variances.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards for inventory handling.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with warehouse, finance, and operations teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for inventory tracking.
