Job Overview
The Inventory Coordinator, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, is responsible for maintaining overall inventory, executing day-to-day inventory responsibilities, and supporting inventory control procedures. Provides outstanding service to internal and external customers by supporting the Inventory Management Program within respective site.
Job Duties and Expectations
- Demonstrates and supports all safety procedures.
- Executes the Inventory Management Program within respective site, including but not limited to; regularly scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts, supporting inventory reporting, maintaining ERP inventory accuracy
- Supports development and implementation of tactical objectives supporting goals, budget, and customer service initiatives.
- Assists troubleshooting of workflow or operational issues and leads corrective actions to help ensure standards and customer service levels are met.
- Leads inventory management root cause analysis (RCA’s) for corrective action opportunities and process improvements. Maintains best practices and performance standards to meet or exceed Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs)
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive team environment.
- Leverage data and resources to identify operational opportunities and develop improvement methods and procedures.
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication occurs to resolve issues and accomplish goals.
- Supports and communicates shifts in plans, goals, actions, inventory, or priorities to deal with changing situations and acts as a change agent.
- Seeks out developmental opportunities in regard to training, performance management, and leadership skills.
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with current and future business partners.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
Working Conditions
- Significant walking, bending, standing.
- Physical activities including but not limited to reaching, pulling, pushing, gripping, grabbing, and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Travel between local sites, as needed.

Requirements:
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
- Experience managing organizational inventory in a high-volume warehousing and operational environment.
- ERP experience, preferably Epicor (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent); with WM,
- Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish stated goals.
- Tactical decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships at various levels and influence decisions.
- Additional Production, Scheduling, Operations experience highly .
- Lean Methodology training and/or certification (Six Sigma, etc.) highly .
- PIT certified, .
- HACCP certified, .
