Inventory Control Specialist
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Onsite
Placement through Allied OneSource

Allied OneSource is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for one of our valued manufacturing/warehouse clients. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory levels through routine auditing, cycle counting, and investigating discrepancies. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and confident working in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
• Conduct inventory audits to identify discrepancies and root causes
• Research and reconcile inventory variances; document findings and corrective actions
• Update inventory records in WMS/ERP systems with speed and accuracy
• Monitor stock movements, transfers, and adjustments
• Assist with investigating missing, damaged, or misplaced items
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, organized inventory area and follow all safety protocols
• Support physical inventory counts as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse auditing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable using inventory systems (WMS/ERP), handheld scanners, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
