Inventory Control Specialist
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Onsite
Placement through Allied OneSource
Allied OneSource is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for one of our valued manufacturing/warehouse clients. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory levels through routine auditing, cycle counting, and investigating discrepancies. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and confident working in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Conduct inventory audits to identify discrepancies and root causes
- Research and reconcile inventory variances; document findings and corrective actions
- Update inventory records in WMS/ERP systems with speed and accuracy
- Monitor stock movements, transfers, and adjustments
- Assist with investigating missing, damaged, or misplaced items
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to resolve issues
- Maintain a clean, organized inventory area and follow all safety protocols
- Support physical inventory counts as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse auditing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable using inventory systems (WMS/ERP), handheld scanners, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
