The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for the management of inventory in our Houston Tx, manufacturing facility serving all product lines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Physical counts, audits, cycle counts, reconciliation and trouble shooting.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring a variety of products, and communicating inventory levels with management.
- Requires management of the inspection and receiving of incoming materials
- Processing RMA's and vendor returns.
- Directing physical inventory, maintaining and distributing part number lists.
- Confirming results and troubleshooting problems with counts.
- Ability to relate across departments connected to the warehouse, and with other members of staff within working environment
- Ability to adapt promptly to any change in working conditions and to get problems resolved without delay
- Additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, highly organized and strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of inventory policies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Previous experience working with ERP and other Inventory Management systems.
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with Inventory control in an industrial manufacturing environment. Previous exposure to workflow issues and the ability to forecast future inventory needs based on workload and CPIM other Inventory Management accreditations or degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is but not required.
