Position Overview

The Inventory Control Manager will support fulfillment and distribution by ensuring accurate inventory levels, managing inventory replenishment, and inbound operations. You will be an integral part of our brand-new 75,000 square foot facility in the Chandler, Arizona area and part of our facility leadership team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining processes and standardized operating procedures for your department.

What you’ll be doing

• Ensure daily cycle counts are completed within the warehouse, where applicable

• Review and work inventory status reports (stock-outs, Excess & Obsolete, Inventory Adjustment report, short-dated, etc.)

• Manage direct and indirect team members’ overarching responsibilities

• Lead receiving and stocking teams, with support from Inbound Supervisor; develop appropriate stocking and put-away processes

• Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect team members

• Responsible for dock-to-stock timing, cycle count completion and accuracy

• Maintain Inventory Control workflow

• Monthly updates to include inventory value trends (month-over-month & year-over-year); E&O status/progression; inventory adjustment summary w/explanations for all large variances; team member performance updates

• Work with accounting teams to ensure all inventory adjustments are appropriately captured, prior to the closing of the books

• Work with IT/Accounting/Divisional teams to create relevant reports related to inventory control

• Support Fulfillment Center Manager and outbound teams with slotting layout and proficiency

• Ensure accuracy and adequacy of receiving documentation and tracking

Is this role for you?

• 3+ years warehouse receiving and material handling experience

• 1+ year of leadership experience

• Recommended experience in a warehouse, production, or receiving environment.

• Must be able to push, pull, reach for, and pick up, 70+ lbs.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn new systems.

• Previous ERP and WMS experience required.

• Ability to add, subtract, divide, and multiply.
