Description
The Inventory Control Coordinator supports the monitoring of day-to-day transactions, documentation, and analysis of supply chain data. Maintains logs and records of required documentation. Interacts with internal and external customers and vendors to respond to requests and questions. Escalates more complex issues to operational teams. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare Excel migration sheets to support mass uploads and updates of IFS parts.
- Verify estimated material costs, supplier purchase part pricing, and the accuracy of part characteristics.
- Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of the IFS system.
- Support the monitoring of inventory transactions, material usage, and excess inventory, and gather data for period-end financial reporting.
- Perform safety stock analyses and update safety stock levels in the system.
- Conduct raw material lead-time analyses and enter corresponding updates into the system.
- Audit and analyze shortages and customer move-outs to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Create and update IFS part records in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications
- Possesses a general understanding of inventory control principles.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Is capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Has knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, including word processing and Excel.
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Utilizes strong time-management skills to meet or exceed departmental productivity goals.
- Communicates effectively in writing, adjusting tone and detail according to the needs of the audience.

Physical Requirements
Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties.
