In the Instrumentation & Control Team , we are part of the Offshore Wind Engineering Department and act as a central function for aspects of the complex park infrastructure/architecture such as Operations Technology (OT), OT Security, Network Infrastructure, Communication Means, Control Rooms and other Industrial Control System topics . As an energetic and committed intern/working student you will gain an insight into all aspects of the HV/Substation and WTG SCADA systems of our offshore wind farms, including learning the ins-and-outs of acting as an internal support function. You will have the opportunity to support various projects including their respective development, project management, stakeholder management and implementation. Acting as an interface team, you will also gain insight into the knowledge transfer management between operational wind farms and sites under development. Your Tasks Advancing the progress, consistency, and establishment of in-house methodologies and projects suitable for sites in operation or in the process of being developed. Provide quality assured information (particularly in relation to technical KPI reporting and documentation) to internal stakeholders. Collect and utilize lessons learned and site-specific information in close collaboration with offshore wind farms in Central Europe and the UK within the larger RWE fleet. Your Profile Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Technology, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering advantageous, but all fields of study are welcome. Conceptual and analytical skills essential, initial experience in project management advantageous. Knowledge of renewable energy advantageous. Motivated and committed team worker, able to work well individually when required. Energetic and eager to deliver new projects and ideas with a structured and solution-oriented way of working. Great communications skills, ability to effectively communicate complex topics.
