Intermediate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services \n London\n\nWe are working with a leading, design-focused building services consultancy with a thriving London office that is entering an exciting phase of expansion. With ambitious plans to double the companys revenue over the next three years, this is a great time to join the team and grow with them.\n\nThey are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design team across a variety of projects, helping deliver high-quality solutions while gaining exposure to a wide range of sectors and project scales.\n This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is ambitious, technically strong, and motivated to develop towards chartership while being part of a high-performing, growing team.\n\nThe Opportunity\n As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will:\n\nProduce mechanical design drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules\nSupport compliance with BREEAM and Building Regulations Section 6 Part L\nWitness test and commission installations to ensure performance and quality\nUndertake spatial planning for plant areas and non-intrusive surveys of existing installations\nAssist in mentoring trainee engineers and reviewing outputs from junior staff\nContribute to design team and project meetings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and emerging technologies\nSupport senior engineers and associates in delivering projects on time, budget, and to the highest technical standard\nHelp the team achieve growth objectives by contributing to high-quality project delivery and repeat businessThis role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical tasks while learning from and supporting senior colleagues.\n\nWhat They're Looking For\n\nBEng (Hons) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND considered)\nAmbitious, self-motivated, and strong team ethic\nGood communication and problem-solving skills\nComputer literate with CAD or Revit experience\nCommitment to working towards chartership and maintaining CPDDesirable:\n\nChartered status or actively pursuing it\nExperience with IES software for thermal analysis\nMulti-disciplinary understanding of building services\nMembership of CIBSE or Institution of Engineering and TechnologyWhy This Role?\n This is a high-growth environment where your contribution will directly support the London office's ambitious revenue plans over the next three years.
