Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer\n Stanmore \n\nI'm currently supporting a well-established building services consultancy that is looking to strengthen its design team with the appointment of an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer.\n My client is seeking an engineer who can take an active role in developing electrical designs and coordinating engineering services across a range of projects. The successful individual will have exposure to a variety of sectors and systems and will be confident working in line with current industry standards.\n\nThis opportunity would suit someone with a solid technical grounding in building services design, who is capable of integrating modern technologies into projects and contributing to high-quality engineering solutions. You will be encouraged to continue developing your professional status and progress your career within a supportive environment.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\nSurveying, testing, and reporting on existing electrical installations\nAttending and contributing to technical meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors\nUndertaking engineering calculations using Amtech, Pro-Design, or similar software\nPreparing tender specifications and design drawings\nSupporting and overseeing the technical work of trainees, graduates, and junior engineersSkills and experience required:\n\nCompetence in producing specifications and drawings for a range of building types\nGood working knowledge of MS Office applications\nUnderstanding of relevant British Standards\nAbility to manage and prioritise your own workload\nComfortable working to deadlines and within project programmesQualifications\n\nDegree in Electrical or Environmental Engineering ()\nHNC/ONC/BTEC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent\nIdeally a minimum of three years' experience within a UK consultancy, although strong candidates with slightly less experience will also be consideredAdditional information\n\nPermanent, full-time position with salary dependent on experience\nCandidates must be based within a commutable distance of the Stanmore area\nBenefits following probation include private healthcare, salary sacrifice pension, and death in service insuranceThis is a great opportunity to join a growing and collaborative team with excellent long-term career prospects.
