Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer \n\nGeneral Description of Expected Roles \n\nThe Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineers role will be working with the M&E design team, providing support, and assisting the senior design engineers, in producing Electrical Services Design throughout the full project lifecycle.\n\nThe Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer will be undertaking full Mechanical Systems Design and will be working on a variety of projects including Educational, Residential, Commercial and many more.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and traits;\n\nBe self-motivated with an eagerness to learn;\n\t\nHave an interest in the construction industry\n\t\nBe able to communicate with both work colleagues and external clients\n\t\nHave good personal appearance;\n\t\nEffective presentation skills both written and verbal\n\t\nHave good mathematical ability\n\t\nWorking as part of a team and individually\n\t\nBe a team player\n\nCandidate must hold a full UK driving licence.\n\nThe Intermediate Eectrical Engineers role is summarised as follows :\n\nTo implement company procedures policy.\n\t\nTo undertake electrical design and assist the project manager with various types of projects in accordance with the company aims and policies.\n\t\nTo assist and be part of the design team and provide electrical engineering support to all engineers, Senior and Junior.\n\t\nLiaise with clients and attend meetings on all aspects of the projects.\n\t\nMaintain and expand the companies client base.\n\t\nCarry out surveys and produce reports.\n\t\nCarry out quality inspections of projects.\n\t\nUse software in line with Pinnacle company procedures. Undertake duties as required by the Director /Line Manager\n\nExperience of: \n\nProducing detailed specifications\n\t\nExperience and knowledge of current Building Regulations / GLA London Plan /\n\t\nProductions of design calculations both manual and using software\n\t\nProduction of manual drawing mark-ups\n\t\nBasic Autocad skills, experience of using Bluebeam / Revit would also be advantageous\n\t\nAssistance with the production of tender packages\n\t\nAssisting with producing tender analysis of returned tender packages\n\t\nAssisting budget costings for all aspects of services\n\t\nCarry out site surveys\n\t\nProduction of condition reports\n\t\nSupporting Senior Engineers with mentoring Junior Staff\n\t\nDirect Client Liaison\n\nKnowledge of: \n\nCIBSE Guides\n\t\nCDM Regulations\n\t\nBritish Standards (UK)\n\t\nRevit / BIM\n\t\nBuilding Regulations\n\t\nIEE Regulations\n\nProject Profile: \n\nResidential\n\t\nEducation\n\t\nCommercial\n\t\nLeisure\n\t\nDecarbonisation\n\nEducation:\n\nQualified to at least HNC Level or similar qualification for review\n\nComputer Skills: \n\nWindows\n\t\nExcel/Word\n\t\nAutocad/REVIT\n\t\nMicrosoft Project\n\t\nHeavacomp\n\t\nAmtech\n\t\nDialux Evo\n\nIf this role is a good fit, apply now.
