Intermediate Applications Engineer\n\n Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield\n Salary: £32,500 - £37,500 + Pension + Healthcare + Technical Progression\n⏰ Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for an Intermediate Applications Engineer to join our growing Engineering team.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their technical and project management skills within a supportive environment. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to deliver high-quality engineering projects from order through to completion.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the development of technical designs, work instructions, and project documentation.\nAct as a key link between engineering, manufacturing, and customers.\nAssist in managing projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.\nLiaise with customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical support and updates.\nWork with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and safe project execution.\nCoordinate procurement requirements and project documentation.\nSupport Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and attend customer meetings when required.\nEnsure compliance with company quality, safety, and business management systems.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nEssential:\n\nHNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering.\nExperience in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.\nStrong communication and organisational skills.\nAbility to interpret technical information and produce accurate documentation.\nProactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.Desirable:\n\nPrevious experience in an Applications Engineer, Project Engineer, or Design Engineer role.\nExperience working with technical drawings and engineering documentation.\nAutoCAD experience.\nExperience supporting customer-facing engineering projects.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary\nCompany pension\nPrivate healthcare\nOngoing technical training and development\nClear progression opportunities\nSupportive and collaborative team environmentINDGLO
