Job Description

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading client to recruit for an Interim Procurement Manager on an initial 3-month contract. This role will be fully remote\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.\nManage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.\nSupport business units in identifying procurement needs and developing sourcing solutions.\nDrive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the supply chain.\nEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.\nMonitor supplier performance and manage risks across the supply chain.\nProvide strategic advice and reporting on procurement activities and market trends. \n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience in procurement and supply chain management from within either a Infrastructure, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Maintenance background.\nStrong track record of managing procurement projects from strategy to delivery.\nExcellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.\nUnderstanding of public and/or private sector procurement regulations and best practices.\nAbility to work autonomously and travel as needed to Stevenage and Southampton.\nMCIPS qualification ().\nProficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite \n\n50632DH3R4\n\nINDPRO
