We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Professional with extensive experience in indirect categories to support a high-profile public sector programme. This interim role will contribute to strategic procurement activities across a range of services including Facilities Management, Technology, and Marketing.\n\nClient Details\n\nThis is an opportunity to work for a public sector organisation operating within the transport industry.\n\nDescription\n\nLead and deliver procurement activities in line with internal governance and the Procurement Act 2023\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies that drive value for money\nManage procurement processes across frameworks and open market routes\nCollaborate within multi-disciplinary teams across organisations to deliver key outputs\nIdentify and escalate risks or issues that may impact successful procurement delivery \n\nProfile\n\nA successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:\n\nMinimum 5 years public sector procurement experience \nProven track record in managing complex, time-sensitive procurement projects\nStrong understanding of the full procurement lifecycle and public procurement regulations\nSkilled in drafting procurement documentation, ITTs, evaluation processes, and supplier recommendations\nIn-depth knowledge of contract law and risk analysis\nAbility to embed quickly into teams and manage fluctuating workloads independently\nPassionate, driven, and able to meet challenging deadlinesJob Offer\n\nWhat's on offer: \n\nCentral Manchester (Hybrid - minimum 2 days/week in office)\n12 month duration \n£550 per day
