We are seeking a Interim IT Procurement Manager to lead on IT category spend and manage day-to-day requirements for a dynamic Technology Business Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver innovative, compliant, and effective commercial arrangements in a diverse environment, with contracts ranging from £10,000 to over £1M.\n\nClient Details\n\nThe organisation is a leading public sector organisation committed to delivering exceptional services and value for money across a diverse portfolio. .\n\nDescription\n\nLead and manage procurement of IT-related spend, ensuring excellence and flexibility.\nDevelop a category management approach and actively manage the IT procurement pipeline.\nTake ownership of commercial activity across the full lifecycle, from sourcing to contract management.\nDrive contractual performance and value for money using market knowledge and professional expertise.\nBuild strong stakeholder relationships and provide authoritative advice on procurement and commercial issues.\nSupport wider procurement activity in other categories such as Property and Professional Services.\nPlay a key role in commercial transformation initiatives. \n\nProfile\n\nA successful IT Procurement Role candidate should have:\n\nProven track record in leading IT procurement within a public sector environment.\nExperience with government frameworks (e.g., Crown Commercial Services).\nStrong contract management and supplier relationship management skills.\nAbility to deliver results under pressure and manage multiple priorities.\nExcellent communication and influencing skills.\nStrategic thinker with strong business acumen and evidence-based decision-making capability. \n\nJob Offer\n\nDaily rate of £550.
