Position: Intelligence Planner, Mid
Location: DIA Headquarters, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling
Clearance requirement: Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Experience/education requirement: Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence planning or 7 years of experience with intelligence planning in lieu of degree
Basic Qualifications
- Experience coordinating analytic support to produce Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) products
- Knowledge of Joint planning and intelligence planning processes, and policy, strategy and plans, including TCPs and TCOs, GCPs, or OPLANs, and U.S. security policies
- Ability to work independently and meet short deadlines in a fast-paced environment, coordinate participation, and input in the development of global plans
Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience with the military, especially in a J2 or Combatant Command environment
- Experience with developing intelligence annexes, appendices, and other strategic documents, such as the Joint Strategic Intelligence Estimate (JSIE) or Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)
- Completion of DoD Intelligence Planning Courses
