Integration Engineer

Job Title: API Integration Engineer Role Summary The
API Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing,
and managing secure and scalable APIs within a banking environment.
The role enables seamless integration between core systems, digital
platforms, and third-party partners while ensuring compliance with
security and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Design and
implement middleware and integration solutions aligned with
enterprise architecture and regulatory standards. Manage the full
API lifecycle (design, publish, versioning, and retirement) through
API Gateway platforms. Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs ensuring
high performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with
architecture, security, and business teams to support digital
transformation initiatives. Ensure proper documentation,
monitoring, and compliance of all integrations. Key Skills API
development (REST/SOAP) and microservices architecture API Gateway
platforms (MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, etc.) Cloud platforms (AWS,
Azure) API security and regulatory compliance Agile / DevSecOps
methodologies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
or related field 6–10 years of experience in Banking/Fintech
Relevant integration or cloud certifications
