Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionMetropolitan Companies is looking for an Insurance Risk Manager to join our team! he Insurance Risk Manager will be responsible for evaluating and mitigating risks associated with our multi-family residential properties. This role involves working closely with insurance providers to lower premiums, advising leadership on risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all properties.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce exposure and insurance premiums.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to negotiate favorable terms and premiums.
- Advise senior leadership on risk management best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and analyze risk trends and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with property managers to implement safety and risk management protocols.
- Other responsibilities as directed by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, risk assessment techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
