Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Commercial Lines Account Executive are as follows:
- Respond to daily service needs of clients.
- Performs renewal reviews thoroughly and timely and makes coverage recommendations.
- Assures that all pertinent data is properly input in the computer upon binding.
- Prepares renewal proposals.
- Sets up "Master" Certificates in Management System and/or CSR24 for the renewal term.
- Reviews audits for changes in classifications or big increase or decrease in exposures and advises Producers if more than 10% discrepancy from policy.
- Works on disputed audits with accounting, insurance company, client and/or client's accountant.
- Rounds out existing accounts and cross sells to client other services provided by the agency.
- Processes billing promptly.
- Follows up timely on pending items.
- Makes sure management system is documented.
- In coordination with producer, meets with clients as needed.
- Backs up other Account Executives, Assistant/Account Managers as needed.
- Prioritizes own work daily.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following attributes:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in Applied Epic helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Remain current on insurance knowledge and various industry developments.
- Must be licensed.
