Insurance Claims Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking a dynamic Insurance Claims Manager to lead key components of a statewide residential insurance program. This role reports to the Chief Insurance and Claims Officer and is responsible for overseeing training, outreach, catastrophe response planning, and claims program projects, while managing a small team of specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee development and delivery of claims training materials for adjusters, engineers, and participating insurers
• Lead outreach and engagement with insurers and industry partners to promote claims guidelines and training
• Partner with leadership to plan and execute the annual Claims Conference and insurer catastrophe response plan reviews
• Manage claims–related projects, coordinating subject matter experts and ensuring timely execution
• Serve as a member of the company response team, participating in planning, training, and post-event response
• Supervise the Catastrophe Response & Resiliency Analyst and Claims Training Consultant

Qualifications

• 7+ years of claims management or related insurance experience (property/catastrophe strongly )
• Experience developing training programs and industry outreach initiatives
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Leadership experience managing staff and cross-functional projects
• Familiarity with catastrophe or disaster response a plus
