The day to day of this role includes cradle to grave management of Instrumentation projects, including providing reports, liaising with different departments, developing manufacturing flows and overall support for the production manager.



The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of Instrumentation and a background in Manufacturing environments. The candidate must also be well organised and willing to learn a more logistics-based role. Those with no project management experience are encouraged to apply.



The Role:



Supporting the Production Manager with the management of projects from cradle to grave

Project reports including schedule, cost, and profitability

Identifying project risks and developing mitigation plans

Developing and maintaining bill of materials (BoM)

Developing manufacturing flow for each project as required

Liaising with manufacturing, quality and engineering departments

Office based with occasional travel

The Person:



Degree / HNC / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Instrumentation background

Experience of manufacturing techniques, such as welding, brazing, soldering, machining (turning and milling), 3D printing, metal coating, and heat treatment processes

Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic principles

Any previous experience with precision engineering / production is highly advantageous
