Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate in one of our Denver, Colorado offices to provide instrumentation and controls engineering and design for water and wastewater projects.

• Work includes both in-plant and remote telemetry (SCADA) projects with the potential for HMI/PLC programming.
• Develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P prepare I&C system specifications; prepare cost estimates for projects; and review and approve documentation developed by contractors.
• Inspect, test, and approve of I&C work provided by contractors at water and wastewater facilities.
• Develop SCADA Master Planning documents

Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of water/wastewater or industrial process instrumentation and equipment.
• Control system software configuration/programming capability .
• Electrical design experience is a plus.
• Good verbal, writing and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines, and client interface.
• 5-15 years of I&C design experience ; more or less will be considered.

Education Requirements

• BS/BE Engineering
• PE License, or ability to obtain within one year of employment, is desired
