Position Summary:

We are seeking seasoned professionals to lead and mentor our Instrumentation and Electrical departments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive industry experience providing technical leadership, team guidance, and strategic direction. This position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired expert who wishes to continue contributing their knowledge while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Apply course lesson plans to deliver hands-on instruction in classroom and laboratory settings.
• Promote and instill safe working practices.
• Record trainee performance and submit written reports.
• Provide trainee advisement on instructional matters.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or higher level of formal education / training.
• Minimum of 4 years’ field experience in all areas of expertise.
• Ability to work independently and self-manage.
• Ability to supervise instructional staff within the department(s).
• Advise students with a true concern for outcome of students and learning.
• Answer / advise students questions about their career.
• Basic Instrumentation and / or Electrical principles; troubleshooting; methodologies and functions of these industrial fields.
• Ability to communicate on an individual as well as group level.
• Ability and desire to manage staff.

Work experience:

• Previous experience in industrial instrumentation and / or industrial electrical, or other related fields.
• Demonstrate with a working knowledge basic instrumentation principles frequently used in the industrial environment.
• Basic Professional Experience in one or more of Control systems, Valves, PLC, Analytical Systems, pressure, level, flow, temperature.
