Senior Instrument Designer –South Manchester / Hybrid\nContract: 3+ months\nSalary: Competitive\nLocation: Macclesfield / Hybrid\nDATS Engineering is looking for an experienced Senior Instrument Designer to support project delivery in the pharmaceutical and petrochemical sectors.\nThe Role\n * Work with multi-discipline design teams and Project Managers\n * Review customer requirements, prepare reports, concept and detailed designs (RIBA 2–4)\n * Produce documentation to standards and liaise with subcontractors\n * Lead improvement initiatives and coordinate with Mechanical, Process, HVAC, and Civil teams\n * Attend site in Macclesfield at least 3 days per week\nAbout You\n * 5+ years’ design experience, including electrical installation design in pharmaceutical projects\n * HNC or Degree in a technical engineering discipline (professional membership desirable)\n * Knowledge of E&I design best practices, CDM Regulations 2015, Functional Safety (IEC61511)\n * Hazardous area design experience, including intrinsically safe calculations and inspection schedules\n * Proficient in AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office\n * Collaborative, adaptable, and able to work independently\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise as a Senior Instrument Designer and deliver high-quality engineering projects.\nApply today to join DATS Engineering
