Installer Service Technician - 80% travel

Our client who makes packaging machinery is seeking an Installer Technician to join their team! This individual will be traveling 80%- 90% of the time by car and plane when applicable. The main installation locations are in (IL, WI, MI, MN, IA, NE, MO, IN). If you are an independent, self-motivated, and organized individual with an excellent work ethic, please apply now!

Qualifications:

-Mechanical and Electrical Skills (ability to troubleshoot 24V- 120V-480V)

-Open to 80-90% travel

- 1-4+ years experience troubleshooting equipment (experience working for an OEM, military, packaging equipment, food manufacturing, machinery)

-Automated Equipment expereince

Projected Start Date: ASAP (most likely after the new year)

Salary Range: $32.9-35.9/hr (this is a union position) with wage increases laid out for the next 4 years.

Per Diem:

· Anything over 8 hours of work a day is OT

· $60 a day for food (Travel in IL)

· $70 a day for food (Travel outside of IL)

· $40 extra per overnight stay in a hotel

· Driving- Reimbursement for mileage driven

· Hotel & Plane- Reimbursement (CC Points)

· Option: Company CC for travel expenses if you don’t want to use your own card!

· Holiday Work; rare but, being the service department might be asked of you. For example- Thanksgiving this year someone worked the following Friday-Sunday & 4th of July they had 3 people working. If you do work a holiday like 4th of July it is 8 hour pay + 12 hours @ double time. (Great opportunity for someone to make some $$)
