Installations Senior Engineer - Technical Supply chain

If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles and Responsibilities:· Discussing and understanding various requirements with other disciplines, submittal review, andconstruction support services.· Creating the Equipment List & Bill of Materials (BOM) from the Single Line diagrams for RFQ.· Sending RFQ to approved / preferred suppliers and arranging the quotations in quickest possible time.· Releasing & maintaining the Site BOM.· Technical evaluation of supplier quotations. Qualifying the supplier quotations based on evaluation.· Preparing the estimates and comparison statements based on historical data and current marketprices.· Responsible for negotiating with suppliers for delivery of best quality products at best price withquickest possible delivery time.· Getting the acceptance from suppliers for technical and commercial terms.· Inputs for preparing the Purchase orders and amendments.· Supplier/vendor contact, including initial discussions for project scope deliverables and ongoingcoordination during manufacturing and construction support services.· Getting the supplier progress reports periodically and analyzing the delays. Implementing correctiveactions to meet the on-time deliveries.· Technical evaluation price variations received from suppliers on account of new additions / deletionin the scope of supply.· Working on Site design activity· Preparing Single line diagrams, Conceptual drawings and Schematic drawings in AutoCAD.Skills Required:· Must have solid knowledge of current market pricing & cost estimation.· Collaborate with different teams to understand the sourcing requirements.· Self-starter and desire to learn new things.· An entrepreneurial spirit is essential.· Should have excellent, verbal & written communication skills to build lasting relationships with people.· Should have excellent time management and Negotiation skills.· Should have excellent supplier/vendor communication skills.· Should have excellent Negotiation skills.· Ability to professionally communicate with all types of people via phone, email, face-to-face andvideoconference interactions.· Ability and desire to design and implement new company protocols as essential.· Self-motivated and shows the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.· Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple project and priorities.· Supplier evaluation & developing new vendors/suppliers for various products.· Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions.· Proactive and persistent with well-developed analytical skills.· Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD & other Product Lifecycle Management softwareEducation and Experience:· BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering.· 5+ years of with Design and supply chain Management experience related to power generation andcritical load construction experience.
