Position Overview

Next Day Access Southwest Chicago is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with customers, and installing mobility and accessibility equipment that improves quality of life.

Compensation

• Pay: $20 – $30 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Install accessibility and mobility equipment in residential and commercial settings
• Troubleshoot and perform adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation
• Safely operate tools and equipment required for installations
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment at customer sites
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding installation processes and timelines
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures
• Complete service documentation accurately and timely

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of transferable mechanical or technical experience
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
