Responsibilities: Ubiquiti Camera Installation & Configuration: Mounting and installing cameras (both IP and potentially analog), running and terminating network cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and configuring camera settings. UniFi Protect Knowledge: Familiarity with Ubiquiti's UniFi Protect platform for managing the camera systems. Understanding of networking fundamentals, such as IP addressing, subnets, and network protocols, especially in the context of security systems. Experience with integrated cameras with other security or network systems, include this experience. Ability to diagnose and resolve camera or network issues, demonstrating your problem-solving skills. Customer Interaction: Provide technical support or training to customers on using the camera system. Documentation: Maintain records of installations or configurations.Skills: Ubiquiti-specific skills: UniFi Protect, UniFi Controller, Ubiquiti device configuration. Networking: Wireless networking, network architecture, network configuration, troubleshooting. Security Systems: CCTV, IP cameras, access control, alarm systems, video management software. Cabling: Running, terminating, testing network cables (Cat5/Cat6). Technical Skills: Electrical safety, power tools, hand tools, reading blueprints/diagrams, system integration.
