JOB SUMMARY:
The primary focus of the Installation Technician is preparing equipment at the shop; installing equipment on site; and collaborating directly with clients regarding their project while onsite.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma/GED required.
- Valid Driver's License with clean MVR required.
- Dante certification level 1 required.
- Dante certification level 2 desired.
- OSHA 10 certification desired.
- Other audio/video certifications are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, team driven environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, vision, and balance.
- General mechanical and carpentry skills.
- Knowledge and skills of installation, maintenance and repair of a/v systems and equipment.
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 60 pounds without assistance.
- Capable of working from heights, ladders, scaffolding, personnel lifts, etc.
- Capable of driving large vehicles such as cargo vans and box trucks.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years' experience in the audio, video, or related field.
- Experience terminating a/v connectors to include Cat6/7, NL2/4, BNC/RF, XLR/1/4"/1/8", etc.
- Experience utilizing industry test equipment such as volt/ohm meters, CAT/Fiber verifiers, audio/video cable verifiers, etc.
- Experience operating personnel lifts, telehandlers, forklifts, etc.
- Experience with D&B, Adamson, L-Acoustics, or Cohesion loudspeaker systems a plus.
- Fiber termination experience a plus.
- Touring experience a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair audio and video systems.
- Program, inspect, and test components of a/v systems to include mixing consoles (digital and analog), amplifiers, speakers, microphones, video projectors, manual and electric video screens, LED video walls, control systems, and associated equipment.
- Install, terminate, and test all associated wiring including networking, , microphone, control, video, fiber, etc.
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufactures' manuals to complete assigned projects.
- Complete work orders, record number of hours worked per job, maintain equipment and hardware inventory in vehicles and shops, and record materials utilized on job sites.
- Remain in compliance with any or local codes regarding construction techniques, electrical (low voltage) installation, rigging requirements, safety, etc.
- Perform service calls for existing clients.

- Assist with entertainment division shop duties as assigned.
