Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician to join a well-established integrator specializing in commercial electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in installing and configuring security equipment such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems, and enjoy working independently or as part of a team on high-profile, multi-site projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Install and service electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, alarms, and related hardware.

• Mount and configure cameras (IP and analog) and associated recording systems

• Install and program access control systems, door hardware, badge readers, and panels

• Troubleshoot, test, and verify system functionality

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and scopes of work

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment onsite

• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors

• Document work completed and provide daily progress updates

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial security system installation

• Proficiency with systems such as Lenel, DMP, Brivo, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis, etc. ()

• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
