Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician to join a well-established integrator specializing in commercial electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in installing and configuring security equipment such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems, and enjoy working independently or as part of a team on high-profile, multi-site projects.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

Install and service electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, alarms, and related hardware.

Mount and configure cameras (IP and analog) and associated recording systems

Install and program access control systems, door hardware, badge readers, and panels
-
Troubleshoot, test, and verify system functionality
-
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and scopes of work
-
Maintain a clean and organized work environment onsite
-
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
-
Document work completed and provide daily progress updates
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in commercial security system installation
-
Proficiency with systems such as Lenel, DMP, Brivo, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis, etc. ()
-
Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
