A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INSTALLATION COORDINATOR / PROJECT MANAGER

As an Installation Coordinator / Project Manager, you quarterback our customers' first experiences with WAND products and services. Your goal is always a great customer experience that sets the tone for the life of our relationship with each client. This is a project-specific project management position. Each time, the field conditions and the players are different but the goals are the same.

For each project, you coordinate with the customer, vendors, and other internal departments to ensure that the installation is effectively executed to the customer's satisfaction. It's a good thing that you are a true team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills! As our star installation quarterback, you consistently score a 90+ customer experience score and have 0 fouls against the budget in the form of cost overruns. Due to your great calls during each technical installation, our WAND team continues to have a successful season of growth.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Installation Scheduler / Project Coordinator to support our installation efforts. This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling technicians for both new installations and service work, while ensuring clear communication between field technicians, internal teams, and customers. You will serve as a key point of contact for technicians onsite and play a vital role in maintaining installation timelines, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for field technicians, communicating real-time installation updates to customers.
• Schedule technicians for installation and service work across various regions, including high-profile client sites.
• Coordinate with internal teams-including product management, sales, and client services-to ensure seamless project execution.
• Validate technician availability, skill sets, and necessary tools or equipment for successful on-site work.
• Provide technicians with detailed scopes of work and confirm readiness prior to job site arrival.
• Identify and build a database of reliable technicians across key geographic areas.
• Track and report installation progress, issues, and key milestones to both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update internal systems, checklists, and documentation related to installation projects.
• Serve as backup support for project management and installation calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage scheduling and meet project deadlines.
• Strong background in technician coordination, field services, or installation operations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and resolve issues within set timeframes.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours to support business needs.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AV scheduling, field service coordination, or a related role.
