Position Summary:
The I/R Technician installs, tests, maintains and repairs telephone, Internet and Video to new and existing facilities. Position requires operating knowledge of software programs, computers and other devices to carry out daily activities. Duties may vary somewhat from employee to employee. Each essential job function described below is within the scope of the I/R Technician duties, with actual job assignments and percentage of time depending on the Cooperatives needs at a given time or location.

Experience:
- Prefer 6-12 months of related experience.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. 2-year degree in electronics telephony or the equivalent, . Requires ability to read, write, perform basic math, and understand maps and instructions.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers Class - C driver's license.
Safety Requirements:
- Must comply with all company policies, regulations, traffic laws, safety rules, and safe practices when driving a Cooperative vehicle and be properly licensed to operate said vehicle. Must also attend any safety training as directed and observe safety policies, rules, regulations and laws in the performance of duties.
