Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation Manager to join the logistics team of a well-established, family-owned flooring business based in Solihull. This is a key middle-management position, responsible for coordinating installation teams, managing daily logistics and ensuring flooring installations are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard.Working closely with site teams, installers, clients and internal management, you will play an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships while maximising operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities of an Installation Manager:Manage and coordinate flooring installation teams, ensuring resources are used efficientlyAllocate jobs, forecast upcoming installation requirements and coordinate logisticsManage daily fitting schedules and ensure installation dates are achievedLiaise with site teams and installers regarding scheduling, site readiness and progressMonitor installer performance, quality and cost efficiencySupport site visits, readiness checks and Health & Safety complianceProcess and validate fitter invoices and purchase ordersForecast workloads and installation requirements to support business targetsReport on logistics performance, profitability and operational efficiencyManage company vehicle schedules, servicing and maintenanceReview corrective action reports and ensure issues are resolved promptlySupport the Operations Manager and Contracts Manager with day-to-day operational requirementsIdeal Candidate:Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, installations or operational managementStrong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills and confidence dealing with site teams, installers and senior managementAble to make quick, commercially aware decisions in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExperience managing teams, workloads or contractor networksReliable, detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressureConfident working independently and as part of a wider teamDesirable Experience:Experience within housebuilding, construction, flooring or installationKnowledge of installation scheduling and logistics operationsExperience working with contractors, fitters or field-based teamsUnderstanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and site readiness requirementsExperience with vehicle fleet coordination, purchase orders or contractor invoicingPay & Benefits for this Installation Manager role:£30,000£34,000 salary, dependent on experience32 days holiday , including Bank Holidays and Christmas closureMondayFriday, 8:30am4:30pmOffice-based position in SolihullOpportunity to progress into a higher management position as the department continues to growJoin an established, family-owned business working with major UK housebuildersIf this Installation Manager role is of interest, please apply now or contact Olivia at for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
