About the Role:

Pathfinder Signs & Marketing is growing! We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Installation Manager and Team Leader to join our team. We are avidly looking to add a skilled manager/Team Leader to our team. Looking for a superstar who is willing to, and has the skills to manage and grow the Installation team and business. Candidates will be working hands on with the crew daily to successfully finish projects, with hand in hand with the team in the field to get things done. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products while managing an experienced team. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials, as well as experience leading and managing a team of 3-4 installers. The goal is to contribute to the production and installation for our wonderful clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install indoor and outdoor signage at client locations.

• Ability to lead and manage staff in the production and installation of various signage projects

• Direct a team of 3-5 employees daily.

• Prioritization of daily tasks, work orders, and projects

• Apply vinyl graphics on walls, windows.

• Woodworking skills- ability to use basic wood tools and hand tools

• Load, transport, and unload materials and tools.

• Ensure accurate placement and alignment based on specs.

• Maintain clean and safe job sites.

• Communicate clearly with clients and teammates.

• Read drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements

• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed

• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurement

Note - The position requires the ability to operate a company vehicle for work-related purposes. Therefore, all applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.We will perform a background driving record check, as well as a full background check to verify driving and personal records. You will be required to consent to background checks.

Requirements (key requirements, not complete list):

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record free of any DUI charges within the past 5 years and no more than 2 points on the license & reliable transportation

• Past experience working in small teams, and being a leader/manager

• Good culture person with a pleasing personality.

• Comfortable with power tools and ladders

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

• Basic math and measuring skills

• Must be a minimum of 25 years old, and be able to qualify for our company vehicle insurance.

Additional Skills we are looking for in our next star hire:

• Proven experience as a great communicator and ability to work with others.

• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

• Ability to follow directions in English, and bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

• Good understanding of basic math

• Good physical condition and endurance

• One year experience minimum

Responsabilidades principales:

• Instalar señalización interior y exterior en ubicaciones de clientes.

• Liderar y gestionar al personal en la producción e instalación de diferentes proyectos de rótulos.

• Dirigir diariamente a un equipo de 3 a 5 empleados.

• Priorizar tareas diarias, órdenes de trabajo y proyectos.

• Aplicar gráficos de vinil en paredes y ventanas.

• Habilidades de carpintería: uso de herramientas básicas manuales y eléctricas.

• Cargar, transportar y descargar materiales y herramientas.

• Asegurar una colocación precisa y alineación de acuerdo a planos.

• Mantener áreas de trabajo limpias y seguras.

• Comunicarte de forma clara con clientes y compañeros.

• Leer planos y bocetos para entender requerimientos.

• Tomar medidas y calcular cantidad y tamaño de materiales necesarios.

• Cortar, dar forma y lijar madera u otros materiales (por ejemplo, fibra de vidrio).

Nota: El puesto requiere manejar un vehículo de la empresa, por lo que es obligatorio tener licencia de conducir válida y un historial de manejo limpio. Se realizarán revisiones de antecedentes personales y de manejo. El candidato debe autorizar estos chequeos.

Requisitos clave (lista no completa):

• Licencia de conducir válida. Sin DUI en los últimos 5 años y máximo 2 puntos en la licencia.

• Transporte confiable.

• Experiencia previa liderando equipos pequeños.

• Buena actitud y personalidad agradable.

• Experiencia usando herramientas eléctricas y escaleras.

• Capacidad para levantar más de 50 libras (23 kg).

• Atención al detalle y fuerte ética de trabajo.

• Habilidades básicas de matemáticas y medición.

• Tener al menos 25 años de edad y cumplir con los requisitos del seguro vehicular de la empresa.

Habilidades adicionales deseadas:

• Excelente comunicador, con capacidad para trabajar en equipo.

• Experiencia práctica en carpintería.

• Conocimiento sólido de técnicas de instalación y construcción.

• Manejo de herramientas manuales y eléctricas (sierras, martillos, reglas, etc.).

• Compromiso con seguir normas de seguridad en todo momento.

• Capacidad de seguir instrucciones en inglés (español es una ventaja).

• Buena condición física y resistencia.

• Mínimo 1 año de experiencia en un puesto similar.
